JBS believes in presenting only the fully equipped and skilled students to the recruiters. Accordingly, the School arranges several on and off-campus internships and final placements through our Training & Placement Cell. Our programs and chosen specializations attract higher placement opportunities as supported by a Report in the Economic Times, December 10, 2006 which observed as follows: ‘Indian Job Market is expected to remain extremely buoyant for several years and service sectors, especially the Infrastructure services are going to hire the most’.

JBS graduates shall find placement both with technical and service recruiters such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank, American Express, TATA Motors, Honda etc. Several of them in Power, Financial services, Hospitality, Infrastructural services, Skilled manufacturing and Media & Marketing services have already indicated a strong hiring interest for our graduates.

Continuous Training and Placement

JBS encourages students to work in industries as and when an opportunity arises beyond what is required under the program. We started our very first summer internship programs for the Dual Degree in Management (B.Tech +MBA) batch of 2004-09 & 2005-10. This is an additional summer training provided to JBS DDM students. This is very different training in the sense that students’ are given technical training as well as managerial training. Presently our DDM students are doing their internships at various compnies.

We will be starting our first complete internship programs as a part of academics from June 2008. This will be a complete Managerial training. Apart from these we will also have two more intensive internships in the final year of the program. JBS is already having a T&P cell as a part of JIIT, Noida. Internships

JBS schedules two internships for the Two years Full Time MBA Program as an opportunity in business leadership and social orientation. The first is an 8-10 weeks business internship in the summer scheduled after the third term of the first year of the program. The other internship is 2 to 4 weeks long social internship anytime during the Program.

The Two years Full Time MBA Program provides internship at the following two stages:

1. Corporate internship(8-10 weeks) after the 3rd term of 1st year.
2. Social internship(2-4 weeks) anytime during the program.

The Dual Degree Management Program aims at giving students a competitive edge over their counterparts by providing them internship at the following three stages:

1. Technical internship after the B-tech 6th semester.
2. Corporate internship after the B-tech 8th semester.
3. Social internship during the 5 th year of the program.
